This Is Not a Role for Someone Seeking Stability. This Is for Someone Who Wants to Build, Transform, and Leave a Legacy.
Morgan Ryder is supporting a major industrial manufacturing business in the search for a new Head of Health, Safety & Environment

The Role
Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will take full ownership of the HSE agenda, leading the business through a critical period of improvement and transformation.
You will assess current performance, identify risk and opportunity, and implement the systems, structure, and behaviours needed to create a safer, stronger, and more compliant operation.
This role requires someone who is:

* Confident holding teams accountable
* Able to influence at every level of the business

* Develop and standardise HSE policies, procedures, and operational controls
* Strengthen standards across machine safety, LOTO, PPE, contractor management, and workplace controls
* Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning
* Establish HSE KPIs, governance, and executive reporting structures
* Build HSE capability through coaching, engagement, and leadership development
About You
We are looking for a proven senior HSE professional with experience in complex, high-risk manufacturing, or industrial environments.
You will have:
* NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent)
* Experience in a "hand on" Senior / head or HSE role in a manufacturing environment
* Solid experience of working with high temperature manufacturing processes while ensuring site safety and compliance
