Client Development Executive
Location: Preston, Walton Summit | Hours: Full-time, 36.25 hours per week.
Forbes Solicitors LLP are looking for a motivated Client Development Executive to join our award-winning Marketing and Business Development team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional seeking a new challenge to join our award winning Marketing and Business Development team as an Client Development Executive.
The role offers the chance to develop your career, utilise your business development expertise, and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team. Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll play a key role in identifying new opportunities, producing compelling proposals, and supporting our commercial division in maximising their client relationships. This role is primarily office-based, with occasional opportunities to participate in select external events and business development activities.
What you will be doing
* Researching potential new targets and opportunities to help drive growth across the Commercial Division;
* Producing proposals, capability documents, and internal reports;
* Driving cross-selling, our key client programme and dormant client initiatives;
* Supporting with the planning of business development events such as roundtables or hospitality;
* Tracking progress, and reporting insights to the commercial heads of department and divisional lead;
* Contribute to strategic business development plans and competitor analysis.
About you
We are looking for people that can demonstrate the following:
Essential:
* Business Management degree or equivalent, with experience in business/client development (professional services preferred);
* Proven track record supporting growth initiatives, including research, proposals, client acquisition, and cross-selling strategies;
* Excellent analytical, research, and commercial awareness skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritise multiple tasks;
* Excellent written and verbal communication, confident building relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams;
* IT proficient across multiple platforms, with knowledge of marketing and business development best practices;
* Team player who aligns with the Firm’s values and contributes to strategic initiatives.
Desirable:
* Familiarity with CRM systems and experience aligning business development activity to strategic objectives.
