Job Overview
*Temporary Position*
Job Title: Temporary Finance Officer
Contract Duration: Ongoing, week by week
Hours of Work: 9am-5pm
Days of Work: Monday – Friday
Work Format: Fully office based
Hourly Rate: £15ph
Duties:
* Working on the Sage accounting system and Excel spreadsheets
* Supporting with Sales Ledgers and Purchase Ledger duties
* Managing the company’s expenditure, income, and fixed assets registers
* Monitoring and balancing the company’s accounts
* Preparation of the annual budgets
* Collating records for audit purposes and VAT
* Following strict policies and procedures at all times
Experience:
This role requires a candidate with proven accounts experience who can manage their own workload, has a strong understanding of all-round accounting procedures, and can support the company fully. Ideally, you will have worked on Sage or a similar system and be able to carry out the above duties with little guidance.
