Role
We are seeking a motivated and flexible individual to support the Health Centre Administrator in delivering high-quality administrative services across several sites in the North Locality.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with staff rostering and scheduling to ensure adequate cover across all sites
* Support SSTS (Scottish Standard Time System) administration, including data input and timesheet management
* Carry out accurate data entry and maintain up-to-date records
* Support the completion of Return to Work (RTW) interviews and associated documentation
* Manage petty cash processes in line with NHS Lanarkshire policies
* Report faults and maintenance issues promptly, liaising with relevant departments to ensure timely resolution
* Support with Health & Safety/Fire compliance
* Provide general administrative support as required to ensure the smooth running of services across the Locality
Qualifications
* Experience in an Administrative and Clerical role
* Educated to Higher Grade level
* Ability to supervise staff
* Well developed interpersonal skills in customer care
* Excellent communication skills
* Good organisational and planning skills
* Understanding of a range of procedures and processes
* Ability to prioritise work and work on own initiative whilst under pressure
* Proficient I.T. skills, including Microsoft packages
* Ensuring confidentiality, diplomacy and discretion are maintained at all times
Additional Preferred Skills
* Evidence of minute taking skills
* Experience supporting a clinical team
* Working knowledge of Trakcare, SSTS, Spreadsheets
* Excellent telephone manner
* Willingness to cover annual and sick leave if required
* Car Driver with a full, valid UK/EU/EEA drivers licence
Contract and Working Pattern
Contract type: Permanent / Part Time – 25 hours per week. Working pattern: Monday to Friday 10 am to 3 pm. Salary will be pro‑rated.
Location: Central Health Centre, North Locality.
