Our operating theatres are recruiting for Band 2 experienced perioperative care support workers. Our specialties include Ophthalmology, General Surgery, ENT, Gynecology, Urology, Maxilla‑facial, elective Orthopedics, Acutes & trauma, Obstetrics and Post Anaesthetic Care Unit.

Responsibilities
* Cover a 24 hour service over a 7 day period.
* Undertake a range of duties including clerical and patient care activities under the direct supervision of a Registered Practitioner ODP, Nurse or a Senior Perioperative Care Assistant.
* Assist the Registered Practitioners to deliver patient care and prepare the environment in which care is delivered.
* Ensure compliance with the NHS Constitution and be familiar with the NHS England Guidance ‘Understanding the new NHS’.
Qualifications
* Staff should already have experience in this role.
* Experience in perioperative care support or similar role is desirable.
* Must be able to work in a 7 day 24 hour service.
* Competent knowledge of patient care, ability to work under direct supervision of a Registered Practitioner ODP, Nurse or Senior Perioperative Care Assistant.
This position is not currently eligible for a certificate of sponsorship in line with Home Office guidance as it does not appear on the skilled worker visa occupation list.
