About the role
In order to enable the strong growth of our company, BYD Europe is looking for an HR Intern to join our young, international team with a passion for innovation and a can-do attitude.
As a HR Intern you support the Overseas HR Department and perform a variety of tasks in the field of general and various functions.
Location: Uxbridge, London (Office-based)
Job Description / Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations
o Assist in maintaining local sick leave, reimbursement, and holiday systems.
o Aid in tracking candidate onboarding preparation materials.
o Support coordination of new employee training and progress tracking.
o Assist in arranging candidate interviews and recording meeting minutes.
o Provide assistance in processing employee work visas and transfers.
o Help maintain various progress tracking sheets related to HR functions.
o Support processing of employee tax benefits.
Recruitment & HR Administration
o Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or a Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
o Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
o Excellent time management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks effectively.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn HRIS software.
o Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
o Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
o Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
o Previous experience or coursework in HR is a plus, but not required.
o Fluent English, Chinese.
o UK working rights are required.
