The focus of this role is delivering exceptional client service through clear, expert advice on a range of commercial property and residential investment matters. You will be joining a supportive, proactive environment that values professional development, teamwork, and long-term client relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide legal advice, guidance and innovative solutions on commercial property and residential investment matters.Support the team in achieving fee targets by assisting a broad range of clients across the business.Work closely with clients, lenders, and other stakeholders to structure property transactions effectively.Draft, review and negotiate legal documentation.Identify legal risks and obstacles affecting transactions and guide clients on mitigation strategies.Stay updated on relevant real estate legislation, regulations, and market standards in the UK.Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations including AML and KYC requirements.Supervise junior team members as required.Maintain excellent file and case management standards.Demonstrate commercial awareness, including effective time recording, billing and cashflow control.Build and nurture client/referrer relationships and seek opportunities for future work.Contribute positively to departmental and firmwide initiatives including business development.Provide cover and support during colleague absences.Work confidently and independently without routine administrative support.Candidate ProfileQualificationsQualified Solicitor in England & Wales (via LPC and training contract; or SQE route; or CILEX to Fellow level with admission by SRA).Skills & AttributesProfessional and confident communicator, both written and verbal.Positive, client-focused attitude with strong relationship-building skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex matters.Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of work.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a busy team.Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.Demonstrates alignment with core values such as teamwork, integrity and proactive service.DesirableExperience using Practice Evolve or other legal practice management systems.Familiarity with Practical Law and LexisNexis research tools.
