SEN Learning Support Assistant
Are you a recent graduate who would like love to work in a warm and friendly primary school as a SEN learning support assistant in order to gain more experience prior to embarking on a teacher-training course?
Maybe you have experience already working with young people but would like to formalise this experience in a primary school setting?
Perhaps you have been thinking about teacher training but you are eager to gain vital class-based experience first before jumping in?
The successful candidate will provide support to students with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities, ensuring that they are able to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
* £90 - £100 per day, dependent on experience
* Bristol, Bedminster - BS3 - with onsite parking or easily accessible by public transport
* Outstanding Ofsted rated primary school
* Long-term & full-time until at least July 2025
Responsibilities:
1. Supporting students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis, as directed by the class teacher or SENCO
2. Assisting with the planning and delivery of lessons, activities, and resources that are tailored to individual needs
3. Monitoring and recording progress and achievements of students, and providing feedback to teachers and parents/carers
