About the Role
As the Year 2 Class Teacher, you will take full responsibility for delivering engaging, high‑quality teaching and learning that inspires curiosity and builds strong foundations across the Key Stage 1 curriculum. Your role will include:
• Planning, delivering and assessing lessons that meet the needs of all learners
• Differentiating effectively to support SEND, EAL and higher‑attaining pupils
• Creating a nurturing environment that promotes independence and confidence
• Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents
• Contributing to school life, enrichment and ongoing improvement

What We’re Looking For
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and completion of ECT induction
• Recent, successful KS1 experience—preferably in Year 2

• Excellent communication and a commitment to teamwork
• A reflective practitioner who is eager to develop professionally
