Teach the skills that care depends on - Join us as a Lecturer of Health and Social Care You’ll play a key role in shaping the next generation of health and care professionals, delivering engaging teaching and outstanding learner support. In this role, you will: Deliver high-quality teaching, training and assessment across a range of learning environments Support learners to achieve their full potential through tailored guidance and mentoring Lead on designated study programmes and/or courses as required Design, deliver and evaluate curriculum programmes to ensure excellence in teaching and learning Contribute to an inspiring, inclusive and supportive learning experience for all students We pride ourselves in the support we can give those who are new to teaching, with ongoing training and coaching through our Teacher Academy which includes digital skills support. You’ll have strong interpersonal skills, a positive and empathetic approach, and the confidence to manage a classroom effectively. Tracking student progress and using this to plan targeted support and interventions will be a key part of your role. Ideally, you’ll have experience teaching or delivering training in the workplace, although this isn’t essential as full training will be provided. You’ll be able to teach across Level 1 to Level 3 programmes and motivate learners to achieve and succeed in their studies. All candidates will start at the introductory salary scale point unless certain criteria are met. Lecturers will normally move up to the highest salary scale once one full academic year of teaching for our group is complete. (Lecturers must be in post by 1 st September in any given year to qualify and this is subject to approval).
