Community Integrated Care is currently seeking an Experienced, Dedicated and Compassionate Health and Social Care Professional for a Service Leader Level 1 based in Heald Green, Stockport. What is the role?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual to lead a team of support workers within one of our lovely extra care services in the Stockport area.

More information about the service?

This is a residential home for 12 ladies & gents they have lived here for a number of years together. All our residents are very different and we have a team of advanced support workers that are trained in Autism awareness, sign language at basic level and positive behavioural support. All our residents able to get around by themselves but we are quite vulnerable so need staff to be with them most of the time.

What do we need from you?

With experience working in a health or social care setting, you will have an upbeat positive manner, as well as having a genuine passion for supporting people to become a part of their local and wider community.

You will also have experience working with people supported who present behaviours that require intensive support planning and management to ensure their safety and quality of life at all times.

In addition you will be comfortable using basic IT systems that are required within the role - training can be offered to support this area. You will also hold a professional qualification in Health and Social Care, i.e. Nurse, Social Worker, SVQ Level 3 plus supervisory units (Scotland) / Care Management Level 3 (England).
