Warehouse Team Leader (Goods In & Dispatch)

Hales Group are recruiting for an experienced and dependable Warehouse Team Leader to join our client’s busy operation in Beccles. This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced environment, combining day-to-day warehouse duties with supervisory responsibility providing cover for the Goods In function.

Key Responsibilities
Safely unload incoming deliveries, checking goods against documentation and reporting discrepancies or damages.
Store products accurately in designated locations, ensuring correct labelling, scanning, and organisation.
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders efficiently and accurately for dispatch.
Carry out stock control tasks using warehouse systems and handheld scanners.
Operate warehouse equipment including Counterbalance, Reach, VNA trucks and Power Pallet Trucks (training available where required).
Provide support and operational cover for the Goods In Manager, including coordinating deliveries and workload planning.
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and adhere to all health & safety procedures.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations. Requirements
Previous experience within a warehouse or logistics environment.
Forklift licences (VNA, Reach, Counterbalance, PPT) are desirable but not essential.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Good communication skills and a proactive approach.
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties. Role Details
