Interim Head of Adult Mental Health and Disability Location: Lincolnshire - Hybrid Working Available Rate: Negotiable – Inside IR35 Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week Duration: Interim, 3–6 months (pending permanent recruitment) DBS Requirement: Enhanced with Barred List Check We are working with a local authority who are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to take on the role of Interim Head of Adult Mental Health and Disability. In this vital leadership role, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering specialist adult mental health and disability social work and care services. Your expertise will help strengthen a person-centred, strengths-based approach that promotes independence and choice for adults with care and support needs. You will play a key role in driving forward the Community First Approach, working alongside committed colleagues and partners to make a real difference in people’s lives. Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership for adult mental health, learning disabilities, and autism services Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care Collaborate with internal and external partners to improve outcomes for service users Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans and policies Requirements: Qualified Social Worker with current registration Extensive experience in adult social care leadership, particularly in mental health and disability services Proven ability to lead transformation and service improvement Strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practice If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply with your up-to-date CV and we will be in touch!
