Head of Repairs & Maintenance
Venn Group are working with a housing provider to recruit a Head of Repairs & Maintenance on a 12-month fixed-term contract, leading the delivery of responsive repairs, voids, disrepair works, and maintenance services across a large social housing portfolio.

* Salary: £63,000 per annum
* Contract: 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract
* Hours: Full Time

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the delivery of responsive repairs, voids, work planning, scheduling, and disrepair services
* Drive a customer-focused repairs and maintenance service, ensuring a right-first-time approach
* Lead and develop operational teams, creating a culture of high performance and customer excellence
* Oversee the performance of both direct labour and subcontractor resources
* Support the ongoing transformation and improvement of the repairs and maintenance service
* Ensure compliance with all health & safety, governance, regulatory, and statutory requirements
* Lead on budget management, procurement, contract management, and value for money initiatives
* Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and customer outcomes
* Manage operational risks and ensure appropriate business continuity and emergency planning
* Work closely with senior leadership to deliver organisational objectives and improve operational performance
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Significant experience leading repairs and maintenance services within social housing or property environments
* Proven experience managing, motivating, and developing operational teams
* Strong understanding of responsive repairs, voids, disrepair, and housing legislation
* Extensive knowledge of health & safety, compliance, and regulatory requirements
* Strong financial and commercial acumen, including budget and risk management
* Experience analysing operational performance data and implementing service improvements
* Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills
