Aftersales Team Leader – Peterborough – £55,000 DOE + Car + Benefits
We are recruiting for an Aftersales Team Leader for a well-known prestige company within the agricultural market, specializing in innovative machinery for soil preparation, planting, crop protection, focusing on enhancing soil health, boosting crop yields, and promoting sustainable farming practices. With a strong global presence, the company offers advanced equipment and comprehensive support to farmers worldwide.
You will play a crucial role in the company’s operations; therefore, we require someone with strong organizational skills, extensive experience in the agricultural machinery sector, particularly in after-sales, parts, and service management.
The ideal candidate should be proactive, effective in time management, capable of taking on responsibilities previously managed ineffectively, and possess analytical and logical problem-solving skills.
You must have a clean driving license and be willing to travel within the UK and overseas.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee and manage parts inventory and logistics.
2. Liaise with factories to resolve product issues.
3. Implement technical training plans to enhance dealer employee skills.
4. Manage and approve product warranties, ensuring compliance with Technical Improvement Program (TIP) policies, and follow up on warranty reimbursement issues.
5. Develop and refine internal systems and processes.
6. Improve dealers' service management and profitability, strengthening their parts and service business.
7. Provide support to optimize product performance through customer clinics, demonstrations, and shows.
The Candidate:
1. Degree in agriculture, engineering, business, or a related discipline.
2. Proficiency with CRM systems and manufacturer service and parts systems.
3. Understanding of farming/agronomy practices and the operational/business needs of agricultural customers.
4. Strong customer service, situation management, negotiation, and dispute resolution abilities.
