About the Role
Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to work in one of our partner secondary schools in Sheffield. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and deliver high-quality science education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for Key Stage 5 teaching depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging and effective Chemistry lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Prepare students for GCSE examinations
* Work collaboratively with the wider Science department and school staff
* Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Specialism in Chemistry or Science
* Experience teaching in a UK secondary school setting preferred
* Strong subject knowledge and passion for Chemistry
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
