* In this role as a Senior Practitioner within Stockport Family, you will have the opportunity to create long-term relationships with the families you assist, witnessing first-hand the impact of your hard work. Engage in performance management, mentor new social workers, and manage a focused yet complex caseload to further your professional journey and expand your social work knowledge.
What you will do:
* Establish and maintain strong, supportive relationships with families
* Manage and co-ordinate interventions from the initial point of contact to final disengagement
* Support Team Leaders with performance management and development of student and ASYE social workers
* Focus on reducing transition points for families to ensure continuous support
* Maintain a reduced, more complex caseload for personal and professional development
* Participate in the court processes, including private and public proceedings, and pre-proceedings procedures
