Management Accountant
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
Location: Shaftesbury
Hours: 37.5 Hours per week (Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm)

They operate in a dynamic, customer-focused environment and are now seeking a dedicated Management Accountant to join their finance team. The Role:
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be the key lead on budget setting and monitoring, playing a crucial role in providing meaningful, commercially driven information to key stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the financial planning, forecasting, and reporting processes, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities, and recommending corrective actions.
* Prepare and analyse accurate weekly and monthly Management Accounts, ensuring timely delivery.
* Oversee month-end and year-end journal adjustments, including accruals and prepayments.
* Ensure the accuracy of P&L, Balance Sheet reconciliations, and cash flow reporting, including comprehensive cash flow forecasting.
* Investigate and report on significant variances from budget across departments and activity programmes.
* Maintain the integrity of financial data supplied to the board and external compliance organisations, supporting audit requirements.
* Support senior management and budget holders in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, effectively communicating complex financial data to non-finance colleagues.
* Contribute to the continuous streamlining of finance processes and provide ad-hoc reports as required.
What We're Looking For:
* A part-qualified or qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) with demonstrable experience in a Management Accountant role.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
* A proactive and improvement-focused mindset, always seeking opportunities to enhance processes and efficiency.
* Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
* A detail-oriented approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
