Overview
Fabulous opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate Orthodontic Therapist to join a brand new specialist led orthodontic practice in Cirencester. The Orthodontic Therapist will work under prescription and in accordance with General Dental Council (GDC) guidelines.
Duties
* Placing and removing fixed and removable appliances
* Obtaining patient records including photographs and scans
* Changing archwires, brackets, bands and elastics
* Provide oral hygiene instructions and care guidance
* Accurately record patient treatment provided and progress
* Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, parents and the wider dental team
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records
* Identify and escalate any patient concerns or treatment complications to the specialist orthodontists
Essential Requirements
* Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) as an Orthodontic Therapist
* National Diploma in Orthodontic Therapy or equivalent approved qualification.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work independently under prescription/supervision of the Orthodontists
* Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and safety
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £25.00-£35.00 per hour
