We’re working with a UK-based innovator in the electric vehicle charging space to recruit a Full Stack Developer to play a central role in delivering the smart, connected infrastructure that underpins their growing product range.
This is a hands-on, office-based role where you’ll work alongside hardware and firmware teams to build real-world IoT-enabled systems from the ground up. The company is known for its premium charge point design, smart user features, and direct partnerships with major automotive brands.
The Role
You’ll lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of the cloud back-end systems, as well as supporting production processes and managing devops pipelines. Your work will directly influence the real-time operation of connected devices and apps across the UK.
What You'll Need
Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in similar roles
3+ years’ experience in a full stack development position
Strong experience with GCP, Firebase, AWS, and SQL-based databases (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)
Experience developing and maintaining websites and mobile app back-end solutions
Comfortable with front-end development using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Strong knowledge of PHP, Laravel, Java, and REST APIs
Familiarity with microservice architectures, Lambda functions, Git, and JIRA
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Desirable Skills
Experience in IoT/smart products or EV charging technologies
Familiarity with home automation systems and voice assistants (e.g. Alexa, Google Home)
Understanding of firmware or electronics
Experience with Shopify, BigCommerce, or other e-commerce platforms
Agile methodology experience
