External Description: Senior Operations Support Engineer

Who you'll be working with: The Operations Support Engineering team partners with business leaders to provide an outstanding technical and work environment. The team handles desktop, AV, and facilities support.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead projects to enhance Liberty IT's office environments, desktop and device hardware/software, and digital communications.
2. Facilitate project delivery, ensuring tasks/stories are owned, scored, and delivered well.
3. Facilitate agile ceremonies, communicate progress regularly.
4. Contribute to energy efficiency initiatives to meet targets.
5. Mentor junior team members.
6. Partner with employees to optimize solutions for business value.
7. Promote continuous improvement and best practices for employee experience, safety, and security.
8. Review and contribute to engineering and operations standards.
9. Grow knowledge of IT systems, networks, digital communications, hardware, and software.
10. Assess new solutions using data-driven approaches and lead their adoption.
11. Share knowledge through tech talks, blogging, and external events.
Technology Support Responsibilities:
1. Provide maintenance and support for software, hardware, and office environment during working hours.
2. Manage the full new hire setup process including device and desk setup.
3. Respond to requests and tickets, resolve issues, develop solutions for recurring problems.
4. Document solutions and share with the team.
Digital Communications and AV Engineering:
1. Manage onsite, hybrid, and remote events, supporting AV and communication tools.
2. Respond to requests and resolve issues per standards and SLAs.
3. Maintain AV and communication tools, update licenses.
Office Environment Support:
1. Ensure an outstanding office environment through maintenance and optimization.
2. Manage occupancy, space, and capacity, coordinate intra-office moves.
3. Support energy efficiency initiatives.
Essential Criteria:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in supporting large-scale office environments with software, hardware, and AV technologies.
* Experience delivering software, hardware, and office projects.
* Knowledge of agile delivery practices.
* Experience with continuous improvement initiatives.
* Partnering with end-users to resolve issues and create solutions.
* Current industry-recognized certifications.

* Experience building customer-centric solutions balancing technical, user, and business needs.
