Youth Support Worker - Semi-Independent Living

Bristol & Gloucestershire Pay: £12.40/hour weekdays * £13.40/hour weekends
Support young people aged 16-18+ in semi-independent homes, helping them build confidence, independence, and essential life skills.
Role Summary
* Deliver key-work sessions and day-to-day support.
* Promote education, training, healthy routines, and positive decision-making.
* Safeguard young people and report concerns promptly.
* Support with daily tasks, appointments, and independent living skills.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to reviews and meetings.
* Build strong relationships with young people, staff, and external agencies.
* Facilitate house meetings and encourage participation.
* Work flexibly, including covering shifts and supporting other homes when needed.
Requirements
* 1 year's experience with young people (desirable).
* Willing to work towards QCF/NVQ Level 3.
* Ability to lone-work; sleep-ins may be required.

* Flexibility around rota changes and bank holidays.
