We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts and coordinate P&Ls for designated business lines, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and understandable reporting for users.
The role involves leading and developing teams of subject matter experts, sharing best practices, and working closely with the business and wider finance teams to meet their needs.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Ownership of the preparation of monthly management accounts for designated areas, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant reporting.
2. Managing and developing a team of part-qualified accountants, providing challenges and growth opportunities.
3. Optimising resource utilization and process efficiency across business lines.
4. Collaborating with Business Line Controlling, Business Analysts, and field teams to ensure accuracy and integrity of accounts.
5. Building relationships with site and management teams, addressing queries, and providing training on accounts.
6. Identifying and implementing process improvements and cost savings in accounting processes.
7. Resolving diverse business queries using judgment and acting as a technical specialist.
8. Promoting control, compliance, and process adherence within the team.
Additionally, the role includes coordinating internal controls and audit activities to ensure deadlines are met.
