Responsibilities
* Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support individuals with mobility and transportation needs, including driving to appointments if required.
* Implement and adhere to individual care plans, ensuring that all needs are met effectively.
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the health or behaviour of clients.
* Engage residents or clients in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
* Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety within the care environment.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and team members.
* Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating via electronic systems.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving transportation of clients.
* A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.
