Responsible for providing essential technology to 10,000 healthcare organisations across all major UK health sectors, we are looking for a Management Accountant to join our innovative finance team.

This Management Accountant role will be split between home working and in our Leeds office on a weekly basis (LS19 6BA).
What you’ll do
As a Management Accountant, we will be looking for you to play a pivotal role in supporting financial and non-financial colleagues in the business by providing analysis and insight to aid informed decision making. You will be responsible for producing key financial reports and commentary, forecasts and budgets.
This is an evolving position where you will work a blended role producing management accounts and partnering with commercial, operational and support functions to provide analysis and work on ad-hoc projects.
Continual improvement is fundamental in our management accounts process, you will support the Senior Finance Business Partner and Management Accountants on projects directly working with the wider business.
Other key responsibilities and accountabilities will include;
1. Production of the monthly management accounts for allocated business units together with variance analysis and commentary against budget and forecasts
2. Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and resolving queries
3. Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and rolling 12-month forecasts
4. Responsible for key weekly and monthly reporting
5. Preparation and support in the audit of financial statements
Who you’ll be
We need you to be a Qualified Management Accountant with a proven track record for producing monthly management accounts. You will have a full understanding of financial reporting, P&L and Balance Sheet preparation.
We’re looking for collaborators, who can demonstrate previous experience of working with the wider business to support financial objectives and projects. With advanced Excel skills you will be able to produce financial modelling and be adaptable to changing these models to meet business needs.
In previous Management Accountant jobs, you will have had exposure to improving processes and getting to the root of potential problems within finance processing.
Technical skills we are looking for you to demonstrate include;
6. Experience working with non-finance stakeholders
7. Experience in forecasting, budgeting, reporting and analysis
8. Self-Starter with a strong work ethic
