Our client, a leading provider of specialist radiology services to healthcare organisations across the globe, is looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to join their UK-based commercial team.
Operating in a fast-paced and innovative healthcare environment, this is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with a proven track record in the radiology equipment / service market.
As a key player in the company’s strategy, the successful candidate will focus on identifying new business opportunities, forging long-term client relationships, and contributing to the continued success of a high-impact, mission-led organisation.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding the client base across the UK, developing strategic partnerships, and aligning client needs with tailored service offerings in radiology and diagnostic reporting.
Responsibilities:
* Proactively identify and secure new business, with a strong focus on pipeline development and conversion.
* Build strong, consultative relationships with both prospective and existing clients.
* Contribute to the overall business development strategy, supporting the leadership team with data-led insights and planning.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for growth.
* Work with internal stakeholders to prepare compelling proposals and presentations.
* Meet and exceed sales and growth targets through structured, strategic planning.
* Liaise with marketing, operations, and clinical teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process and high-quality service delivery.
* Provide timely updates and insights to senior leadership on pipeline activity and market dynamics.
Requirements:
* A proven business development or sales professional, with previous experience within the radiology equipment or service market
* Knowledgeable about NHS procurement processes and radiology services
* A strong communicator and negotiator with the ability to build trusted relationships
* Entrepreneurial and self-motivated, with a strategic mindset and commercial acumen
* Confident managing multiple priorities and working in a high-growth, evolving environment
