The Role:
The Sales & Marketing Manager will create a full Sales & Marketing strategy across the Retail and Corporate areas of our business. Reporting to the Head of Design and Development, they will be responsible for a small but very busy office team based at our Leith premises.
A key part of the role will involve establishing new marketing approaches & processes whilst developing fresh marketing materials to attract new customers online and in store. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for delivering marketing activity through our CRM system and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and impact across all customer avenues.
Account management & developing client relationships within our corporate department will be key to the success of this role. Working on customer specific projects, tasks will include managing new business enquiries, generating quotations, presentations & creating sales orders using our ERP system. We are looking for an individual with plenty of experience working in a similar role for an SME.
This is both a strategic and hands on position, working 35 hours per week. While the core hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm, some evening or weekend work may occasionally be required and being willing to travel between stores is essential.
Brief Outline of Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage Corporate & Wholesale customer enquiries, new and existing, from enquiry to project completion.
Manage all aspects of administration throughout customer specific corporate projects.
Cultivate new sales opportunities for the company.
Develop and deliver a companywide marketing strategy working across all areas of the business.
Work with the design team to create seamless on brand marketing materials, both printed and digital for all areas of the business.
Develop a full marketing & PR plan with the Digital Marketing Coordinator and ensuring successful delivery.
Event organisation and delivery across stores.
Skills and Experience:
Outstanding customer service skills.
Dynamic & results driven – ability to roll up sleeves and get a job done.
Excellent IT skills are essential and must include Microsoft Office 365 – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams etc.
Experience of using an ERP system and CRM programmes advantageous
Experience with Magento and WordPress or similar.
Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and InDesign would be very advantageous.
Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
Works to a high standard of attention to detail.
Ability to work well under pressure with a positive approach to multitasking.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Strong negotiating skills.
Ability to establish relationships with people at all levels.
Experience/understanding of the textile & clothing industry would be preferred.
Driving Licence essential.
