Job Title: CAD Designer
Location: Oxford
Salary: GBP 35,000 : GBP 45,000 per annum
We are currently seeking a CAD Designer to join an innovative engineering company based in Oxford, operating within the renewables sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast:paced, technically advanced environment delivering high:performance engineered solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
: Produce detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using Catia V5.
: Support the design and development of complex components and assemblies.
: Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and project teams to ensure designs are optimised for performance and manufacture.
: Contribute to prototype development and design refinement.
: Maintain accurate CAD data, technical documentation, and revision control.
Skills and Experience Required:
: Strong proficiency in Catia V5 (essential).
: Experience in composites design is beneficial.
: Background in motorsport, automotive, or other fast:paced engineering environments is advantageous.
: Good understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacture principles.
: Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
: Relevant engineering or design qualification preferred.
