You'll be a key player in delivering the local HR strategy, helping to achieve both short- and long-term business goals.
Role Details
Role: HR Advisor
Employment type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive
* Location: Sutton Coldfield
* Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:00/08:00 - 16:00/17:00; Friday, 07:00/08:00 - 13:00/14:00 (40 hours per week)
Responsibilities
* Lead new starter inductions and maintain accurate HR and TA system records
* Oversee general HR administration including time & attendance, holidays, contract changes, and absence management
* Coordinate training courses in line with the training plan, supporting apprenticeship recruitment and development
* Collate and report on HR metrics and support wider HR initiatives and projects
* Provide employee relations support, including investigations, absence reviews, and engagement activities
* Coach and support line managers to build capability and confidence in managing their teams
* Partner with the site leadership team to deliver HR support and general administration
Essential Experience / Qualifications
* Part CIPD Level 5 qualified, with 4-5 years relevant HR experience in a similar environment
* Strong employee relations experience, with confidence in handling complex cases
* Proven coaching skills to develop and support line managers
* High attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability, and able to manage competing priorities
* Advanced Excel skills with the ability to produce reports, metrics, and data insights
* Proactive, hands-on, and comfortable working independently or as part of a close-knit team
