Cambridge Zero has an exciting opportunity available as part of our Research Engagement Team, to help deliver the work of our Research Engagement Programme, which aims to position the University as one of the global leaders for innovative and impactful cross-disciplinary climate-related research.
Cambridge Zero exists to maximise the University of Cambridge's contribution towards achieving a resilient and sustainable world. We enable, integrate and accelerate climate activities related to education, research and innovation, working in a co-ordinating and supporting role across the full academic lifecycle; connecting, convening and engaging the broader University community.
Responsibilities
* Manage and deliver the day-to-day activities and operations of Cambridge Zero's research engagement programme.
* Build on the existing portfolio of climate-related research engagement activities and support the development of new ones.
Acting in close collaboration and partnership with a broad range of University functions, help integrate, enhance and accelerate climate activities.
Qualifications and experience
* Experience on research-related projects or in organising multi-disciplinary research-related meetings/events.
* Experience writing or supporting the development of research funding proposals.
