About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting students’ learning and personal development. Working closely with teachers and support staff, you will help deliver lessons, support classroom activities, and assist students in achieving their full potential.
Responsibilities
* Support learning and classroom activities to enable students to achieve their goals.
* Implement personalised learning plans and track student progress.
* Provide assistance with personal care when required, maintaining dignity and respect.
* Encourage social, emotional, and behavioural development.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents to promote student success.
Qualifications
* Experience working with students with SEN in a school or similar setting.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to adapt to individual student needs and work effectively as part of a team.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to supporting students.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply) and understanding of safeguarding procedures.
