To qualify as a Trainee AssocRICS Surveyor, candidates must meet at least one of the following criteria:
1. Hold an RICS-accredited surveying degree (graduate or postgraduate), including modules in valuation and/or building surveying with a pathology module on residential buildings, and have at least one year of property-related work experience.
2. Possess an RICS-approved HND, HNC, NVQ Level 3 diploma, BTEC, or foundation degree with two or more years of property-related work experience in estate agency or a surveying/valuation discipline.
3. Have a minimum of four years of property-related work experience, such as negotiator level or higher in estate agency, or equivalent experience in asset management, LPA departments, or property management, involving caseload handling and decision-making in property matters.
