Offer description

A growing residential property developer and investor is looking to appoint a Finance Associate to support its expanding portfolio across the North West.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business in a high-growth phase, where you’ll play a key role in building and maintaining the financial infrastructure that underpins multiple live and pipeline developments.

What’s on Offer

* Salary of £35,000 – £40,000
* 25 days holiday + bank holidays
* Pension contribution
* Hybrid working (including 1 day from home)
* Genuine progression opportunities as the business scales
* High-autonomy environment with strong exposure to senior stakeholders

The Role

You’ll act as a central figure within the finance function, taking ownership of debt processes, financial tracking, and project appraisal governance. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility from day one.

Key responsibilities include:

* Managing the full debt lifecycle across multiple SPVs – from application through to drawdown
* Monitoring financial covenants (ICR, LTV, reporting deadlines) and proactively flagging risks
* Acting as the main point of contact for lenders, managing relationships and reporting requirements
* Producing a weekly loan book report, giving clear visibility on funding, utilisation, and key milestones
* Overseeing banking and SPV administration, including account setup, mandates, and compliance
* Maintaining and validating project appraisals, ensuring data accuracy across the development lifecycle
* Establishing and maintaining robust finance systems, trackers, and documentation processes
1. What You’ll Bring

* Minimum 2 years’ experience in finance, banking, or property finance
* Exposure to development finance, lending, or real estate (highly desirable)
* Strong experience with debt applications, facility documentation, or banking admin
* Advanced Excel skills – confident building trackers, models, and reports from scratch
* High attention to detail and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
* Strong communication skills, particularly when dealing with external stakeholders

What Makes You Stand Out

* You naturally build systems, trackers, and processes that improve efficiency
* You’re proactive—spotting risks and resolving issues before they escalate
* You’re comfortable working across multiple projects and deadlines
* You can translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights

Why Apply?

This role offers more than just a standard finance position—it’s a chance to be part of a scaling business where your work directly impacts growth, funding, and delivery across multiple developments.
