Provide direct support to children and young people in 24/7 staffed environments, including those presenting with high-risk behaviours such as self-harm, aggression, or absconding. Carry out psychological assessments and develop formulations to guide care planning, ensuring integration of information from multiple agencies. Work within safeguarding frameworks, child protection procedures, and contribute to court-related processes as required. Deliver and adapt evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT, trauma-focused CBT, EMDR, systemic approaches) in non-clinical settings to meet individual needs.
