Full-time • Permanent • MPS/UPR + TLR 2a (£3527)

Start date: September 2026

Catshill First School and Nursery is a welcoming, positive and inclusive community where every child is nurtured and challenged to succeed. Our culture is built on strong relationships and a shared belief that every pupil can flourish. We live out our values of kindness, aspiration and self‑belief in everything we do — and we are looking for a leader who will help us model and strengthen these values every day.

We are seeking an ambitious, knowledgeable and inspiring Class Teacher with an additional responsibility as Maths Leader to head up our Mathematics provision across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or emerging leader who is passionate about maths, committed to raising standards, and ready to shape the next phase of our curriculum and pedagogy.

Why Our School?

We offer:

1. Excellent behaviour – pupils are eager to please, responsive to routines and genuinely enjoy school life.
2. Strong foundations for mathematical learning – pupils are ready for challenge, excited by problem‑solving and at a pivotal stage in building confidence.
3. Positive relationships – you get to know pupils well and play a key role in shaping their attitudes to learning before they move to middle school.
4. High impact – this phase is where great teaching and leadership make a profound difference.
