We are looking for a passionate and committed Year 2 Teacher to join a friendly primary school in Grantham, starting as soon as possible. Your Role
As a Year 2 Teacher, you will plan and deliver lessons that inspire and challenge pupils of all abilities. You will track progress, identify learning gaps, and tailor support to ensure every child achieves their potential. Promoting resilience, independence, and positive behaviour is a key part of the role.

Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons across the Year 2 curriculum
* Monitor pupil progress using assessment to inform planning
* Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and EAL learners
* Maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
* Promote positive behaviour, resilience, and independent learning
* Collaborate with teaching assistants and Key Stage 1 colleagues
* Communicate effectively with parents and carers
* Participate in staff meetings, planning sessions, and CPD
* Contribute to school initiatives and curriculum development

Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience teaching Key Stage 1, ideally Year 2
* Be confident in curriculum delivery, assessment, and differentiation
* Possess excellent classroom management and organisational skills
* Be reflective, proactive, and adaptable
* Demonstrate commitment to inclusive practice and safeguarding
* Have a positive, professional approach to teamwork
