Planned Care Division – TRUST DOCTOR (ST1-2 equivalent) IN OBSTETRICS & GYNAECOLOGY
Main Duties
* Keep patients (and/or their carers, if appropriate) informed about their condition.
* Involve patients (and/or carers, if appropriate) in decision‑making about their treatment.
* Maintain professional standards and obligations as set out by the General Medical Council (GMC) and comply with GMC guidance on 'Good Medical Practice'.

We are a district general hospital O&G department with over 5,000 deliveries per year, a busy acute gynaecology service and elective gynaecology. Person Specification
* Essential Qualifications: MBBS or equivalent; Full registration with GMC with licence to practice.
* Desirable Qualifications: MRCOG Part 1.
* Essential Experience: Completed F2 posts; Previous experience in Obs and Gynae; NHS experience.
* Desirable Experience: Completed ST1 post.
* Personal Qualities (Essential): Demonstrate ability to work with colleagues as part of a team; Effective communication skills; Commitment to personal development; Adaptive skills to changing working procedures; Enthusiastic; Motivated to ensure the achievement of defined targets; Potential to cope with stressful situations and undertake responsibility.
