Role overview:
The purpose of this job is to ensure that all types of Retail, Multichannel and Supplier returns are processed end to end in accordance with company procedures. Responsible for maintaining a low level of non-sents and deal with various stock checks throughout the DC to maximise accuracy and stock availability. To implement and ensure adherence to all company procedures and ensuring that the company’s exceptional standards are achieved.
Responsibilities:
* Unload, breakdown and locate all inbound Returns from both internal and external sources.
* Process all Retail return types from across the group.
* Process direct to DC Internet returns.
* Undertake various Stock Control duties on a daily basis including audits, perpetual cycle counts and stock checks.
* Report any potential quality or product issues to the Management team for review.
* Assist with offsite cycle counting as and when requested by your line manager when required.
* Analyse reports and feedback your findings.
* Assist with the ongoing development of colleagues.
* Comply with current Health & Safety legislation and company policies and procedures, ensuring a safe work place.
* Complete any other adhoc tasks as directed by your line manager in line with current levels of responsibility.
Skills and Experience:
* Accuracy and a high level of attention to detail are essential.
* Ability to clearly communicate at all levels, both verbally and written.
* Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
* Self‑motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative.
* Able to work as an effective team player.
* High standards of conduct, punctuality, performance and reliability are essential.
* Good numeracy and literacy skills.
* Basic IT skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel).
