Lead and manage all testing and commissioning activities for industrial or infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless system integration, compliance, and successful project delivery from preparation to handover.
Responsibilities
* Lead all testing and commissioning activities from preparation through final completion and handover to ensure project success
* Plan, organize, and supervise commissioning sequences, procedures, and execution strategies to meet project timelines
* Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, authorities, and internal teams to resolve T&C matters effectively
* Collaborate with process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and operations teams to ensure proper system integration
* Review and approve commissioning methodologies, schedules, technical submissions, and testing procedures for quality assurance
* Prepare and maintain all commissioning documentation, checklists, reports, and records accurately
* Lead pre-commissioning works, system start-up activities, process commissioning, and functional and performance testing to validate system readiness
* Chair technical discussions, coordination meetings, and troubleshooting sessions to resolve issues promptly
* Monitor project progress, identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions to maintain schedule adherence
* Ensure compliance with safety requirements, operational standards, regulatory guidelines, and project specifications throughout commissioning
* Support plant optimization and operational readiness to facilitate successful project delivery
Required competencies and certifications
* Degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering
* Minimum 10 years of experience in Testing & Commissioning for industrial or infrastructure projects
* Hands‑on experience in wastewater or used water treatment plant projects
* Strong knowledge of sludge handling and treatment systems, anaerobic digestion or co‑digestion systems
* Proven leadership in managing commissioning activities for large‑scale treatment facilities, process plants, or industrial systems
* Ability to work effectively in a site‑based project environment with multiple interfacing disciplines and contractors
Preferred competencies and qualifications
* Knowledge of cogeneration or energy recovery systems is an advantage
* Strong skills in coordination, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management
