Inglis Vets are looking for a Practice Administrator to join their team on a part-time basis to cover maternity leave for 12-15 months!

You will be working as part of a small team, the role requires an organised person who can work without supervision and manage their time and tasks efficiently. The successful candidate must be experienced in all Microsoft Office applications and IT systems.Candidates may be exposed to sensitive and confidential information at times, therefore you must be trustworthy and understand the importance of always maintaining strict confidentiality and exercising discretion.

The role is based at our main hospital in Dunfermline with occasional travel to our other sites in Fife and the surrounding area.

This role reports to the Practice Managers and duties include:

1. Supporting the Clinical Directors, Practice Managers and other Heads of Department with a variety of admin and finance tasks.
2. Dealing with internal and external emails and enquiries accurately and efficiently.
3. Setting up meetings and note-taking.
4. HR admin.
5. Using various bespoke IT systems.
6. Ordering and any other duties required in the day to day running of the practice.


About the rota

The role is part-time 20 hours per week.There will be some flexibility with regards to work patterns during office hours, Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm.
