We are seeking a motivated Computational Pathology Intern to support the development of our next-generation digital pathology quality control systems. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI and image analysis challenges, contributing to improvements in the accuracy, reliability, and efficiency of large-scale digital pathology workflows. About the Role You will play a key role in enhancing our current QC system by developing robust methods to detect image artefacts particularly blur in whole slide images. You will work within an established AI development framework and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver impactful improvements to our central reading services. Key Responsibilities Develop and refine AI models to detect critical tissue artefacts in whole slide images Create and curate training and validation datasets Tune and validate models across multiple tissue types Support the integration of improved models into Perspectum’s central reading service About You Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, or a related field Strong programming skills Interest in machine learning, deep learning, and image analysis Strong analytical and problem-solving skills If you're excited by imaging science, driven by impact, and want to work on meaningful problems in healthcare, we’d love to hear from you.
