SEN Teacher – Early Years & KS1 plex Needs & ASD) – September Start
Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teacher with expertise in Early Years and KS1 education? Do you have the skills to support children withplex needs, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), sensory processing challenges, andmunication difficulties?
We are looking for a full-time teacher to join our specialistplex needs school in September, providing tailored learning experiences for young children in a supportive and inclusive setting. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a lasting impact on pupils who require a nurturing and structured approach to education.
Your Role:
1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the Early Years and KS1 curriculum, ensuring accessibility for all learners.
2. Create a sensory-friendly classroom environment that supports students with sensory processing needs.
3. Implement a variety ofmunication strategies, including Makaton, PECS, and AAC, to enhance student interaction and engagement.
4. Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to provide holistic support tailored to each child’s needs.
5. Monitor student progress, adapting teaching methods to ensure individual development and success.
What We’re Looking For:
6. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
7. Experience working with children withplex needs, ASD, sensory challenges, andmunication difficulties.
8. Strong knowledge of Early Years and KS1 curriculum, with the ability to differentiate learning effectively.
9. Apassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to teaching.
10. Excellent teamwork andmunication skills.
11. Amitment to inclusive education and supporting children’s personal and academic growth.
