Role:
1. Lead on procurement projects to deliver value for money
2. Provide contract support and strong supplier relationship management to ensure commercial objectives are hit
3. Implement controls for high value, high risk contracts
4. Advise stakeholders on the full procurement life cycle
5. Develop new policies and procedures to ensure compliance with updated legislation
6. Support departments throughout whole contract life
7. Identify areas for improvement and value-added opportunities
The Person:
8. Track record of procurement delivery at a high level
9. Contract and supplier relationship management experience
10. Experience of developing category strategies
11. Stakeholder management skills
12. Public Sector procurement experience
13. MCIPS or equivalent level of relevant experience
