I am delighted to be partnering with a well-established business based in Oakham to recruit a Finance Analyst on an initial 6-month contract, with the potential to become a permanent position.
This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional. The role has a strong focus on business partnering and maintaining data integrity, supporting the business through hands-on financial management and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver operational finance support including month-end processes, journal postings, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
* Partner closely with operational and commercial teams to drive performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning activities.
* Ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of financial data across systems and reports.
* Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
About You:
1. Part-qualified or newly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent experience.
2. Strong analytical and Excel skills, with excellent attention to detail.
3. Proven ability to build effective business partnerships across departments.
4. Experience in a product-based environment is desirable.
5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
