PERSONAL ASSISTANT, FULWOOD AREA. REF : LILS/LM/CG
Overview
A kind gentleman is looking to find a caring personal assistant to help him navigate daily life and build a trusting, respectful partnership.
He lives with ME, EUPD and OCD with intrusive thoughts which can be very debilitating at times and leaves him feeling guilty and overwhelmed.
No personal care is needed and the role is not just about practical support but about creating a safe, relaxed space, help build confidence and encourage staying socially included which in particular involves a keen interest in listening to music.
Responsibilities
* Act as an advocate and a companion.
* Provide practical and household support, general domestic tasks.
* Help create a safe, relaxed space, build confidence, and encourage social inclusion.
* Support listening to music and other interests as requested.
Qualifications
* Compassionate and reliable.
* Understanding of mental health impacts.
* Experience with emotional reassurance.
* Interest in DIY is an advantage.
* Access to own vehicle with business insurance and full clean driving license.
Work Details
7 hours per week at a rate of £12.21 per hour. Hours of work need to be flexible by negotiation and will be worked Monday – Friday daytime, with very occasional availability for potential gigs of interest.
