We’re searching for a Senior Marketing Executive for a fixed-term role in our Academic division to create and launch dynamic marketing campaigns that communicate the value of our products for the librarian audience.

About the role
Reporting into the Senior Library Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for generating and nurturing institutional librarian leads as well as encouraging renewals of ebook, journal, and other online product subscriptions for academic library customers.
As part of this role, you will:
* Design and implement effective institutional marketing campaigns across the Americas and EMEA
* Collaborate closely with library sales teams in these territories to understand regional requirements and develop creative sales tools and events
* Create retention marketing collateral and strengthen relationships to improve customer satisfaction and librarian experience
* Lead on key processes, areas of specialisation, and/or tactics, and support team members in their knowledge and skill development
* Manage a range of objectives and deliverables, and report on outcomes for a variety of marketing campaigns from start to finish
* Be part of a team contributing to an area of high visibility and impact for the business
This position has been classified as a hybrid role, requiring the selected candidate to typically spend 40-60% of their time collaborating and connecting face-to-face at their dedicated location. Aside from our hybrid principles, other flexible working requests will be considered from the first day of employment, including other work arrangements should you require adjustments due to a disability or long-term health condition. Occasional (up to 10%) customer-facing travel may be required for the role.
About You
For this role, we’re looking for an outstanding communicator with the drive to proactively pursue experimental ideas while supporting regional sales teams and optimising ongoing campaigns.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Comprehensive experience planning and delivering effective marketing campaigns across web, email, and social media channels, ideally in a global environment
* Strong evidence of lead-generation and pipeline building experience
* Demonstrable networking and relationship-building skills, including experience building strong relations with colleagues in other departments
* The flexibility to adapt to evolving changes in markets, technologies, and priorities
* Advanced communication and presentation skills
* The ability to clearly and confidently recommend strategies or campaigns to best fit sales goals
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure, prioritising your workload to tight deadlines
