Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a newly created role as Transport Administrator at Widnes. Reporting to the Transport Admin Leader, the purpose of the role is to complete all admin related tasks associated with executing the Transport Planners’ plan.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks
* Prepare driver packs for the next day and provide them promptly to the relevant site
* Complete all booking in requirements
* Liaise cross-functionally with Sales and customer services to support execution of the plan
* Liaise with other departments/sites within Transport
* Support Transport Planning with admin related tasks; fleet stats, failed deliveries, email management
We Are Looking For
* A hands on/practical approach
* Ideally, experience of working within a Transport team
* Good computer and communication skills
* Someone who works well on their own and can manage their own workload
