Our expanding Solar PV & Battery storage sales division is at the forefront of offers cutting-edge solutions to improve energy efficiency and reduce carbon footprints to homeowners across the South East of England.
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Field Sales Manager to join our expanding team, driving sales and delivering exceptional customer experiences across the South East of England.
As we continue to expand our solar PV & battery storage sales division, you will be responsible for the whole end to end consultative sales experience for domestic & battery storage installations. The role is field-based in the South East with regular visits to our Watford office. Qualifications relevant to the industry are advantageous but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Business Development:
* Respond to inbound enquiries via the website, manufacturer partnerships, and utility collaborations.
* Proactively generate new business opportunities through networking events, partnerships, and direct outreach.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with potential customers to convert leads into sales.
Customer Engagement and Consultations:
* Engage with leads to understand their property and energy needs, providing expert advice on solar PV and battery storage solutions.
* Conduct consultative sales discussions and arrange site visits to perform solar surveys in line with MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme) regulations.
* Recommend complementary energy-saving measures, such as insulation or air source heat pumps, where applicable.
System Proposals and System Design:
* Prepare detailed proposals, including system designs, specifications, and quotations using industry-standard software tools.
* Present tailored solutions to customers, clearly articulating the benefits and technical details.
Sales Conversion and CRM Management:
* Convert proposals into confirmed sales of domestic solar PV and battery storage installations.
* Keep CRM systems updated with lead statuses, follow-up schedules, and sales progress.
* Follow up with leads consistently to maximize conversion rates.
Compliance and Continuous Learning:
* Ensure all surveys and proposals meet MCS regulations and industry standards.
* Stay up-to-date with advancements in solar technology, battery storage, and renewable energy solutions.
Key Requirements:
Essential:
* Proven experience in the field sales industry (B2C), with a minimum of 2-3 years in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of solar PV systems, battery storage, and renewable energy solutions.
* Excellent consultative sales and communication skills.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the South East of England.
