Electrical Design Engineering - Up to £40,000 plus Benefits
The company
In this exciting new opportunity, you will be working for an organisation new to Ely with offices in Ipswich as well. Being part of this team will give you a chance to work on different projects, such as residential and commercial, as well as bespoke design within Building Services. You will get the opportunity to work closely with a director who has over 20 years of experience within the industry.
Your role
In this role, you will know how to use AutoCAD or relevant software, either in the mechanical or electrical field. You will be able to design new engineering products and processes, analyze prototype data, and retest if needed. You will research new product ideas and methods, improve existing products and processes, and design and install controls for systems like heating, ventilation, and lighting. You will ensure compliance with industry safety standards and maintain accurate records of your findings and designs.
What we are looking for
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, operation, and monitoring of technical services in buildings, including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, to ensure safe, comfortable, and environmentally friendly operation. You will have experience in the field and be capable of managing projects both technically and commercially, providing engineering design solutions to maintain and enhance the environment and community. You will work closely with your manager and director to ensure projects are completed to a high standard. We are seeking someone eager to start their career in Building Services Design or looking to transition to a company with a family-oriented culture.
