Role Overview
We have a fixed‑term post (18 months) for a Specialty Doctor in Oncology working 6 clinical sessions in Cornwall.
Responsibilities
* Provide oversight and safe prescription of CDK4/6 therapy for early breast cancer patients.
* Assess and support cancer patients in outpatients, building on existing knowledge base.
* Participate in teaching, CME and governance/audit activity where possible.
* Collaborate closely with Oncology Consultants and a large existing team of GP Oncology practitioners.
Qualifications
* Specialty training in Oncology or equivalent.
* Clinical experience in systemic anti‑cancer therapy prescription.
* Strong communication and teaching skills.
* Experience working within an NHS Trust preferred.
